Santo Sunny’s start-up, Game Development Association (GDA), has been selected to receive grant assistance from All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE) & Ministry of Education (MoE) Innovation Cell as part of the YUKTI Innovation Challenge 2023. Out of 441 teams that underwent the funding assessment phase, GDA's innovative solutions have been recognized as one of the 135 innovations eligible for grant support. (National Level)

Santo Sunny & Christopher Roach participated in the recent mega event commemorating the 3^rd Anniversary of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 and the 2^nd Edition of the Akhil Bhartiya Shiksha Samagam (ABSS). GDA had the privilege of showcasing their innovative products such as AsthaGraha (Solar System Educational Game) & Deccan Conqueror (life story of Chattrapati Shri Shivaji Maharaj educational game) at this esteemed event, held on July 29^th & 30^th 2023, at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi. The event witnessed presence of eminent dignitaries, including Shri. Narendra Modi, Honorable Prime Minister of India, along with various education ministers, teachers & school students from across the country. (National Level)

Santo Sunny, Desmond Antony, Suraj Shinde & Mrunali Tamhankar’s GDA emerged victorious at the prestigious Smart India Hackathon 2023. With their innovative educational game, Asthagraha, they secured the top position & were awarded a prize money of INR 1,00,000/-. The Smart India Hackathon, held at Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh in December 2023, provided them with a platform to showcase their innovation & make meaningful impact in education. (National Level)

Ruchita Rao, Shubham Shanbag & Nivedita Kokane’s Team Codiee emerged victorious at the prestigious Smart India Hackathon 2023. With their innovative project Sentinel Shield: Safeguarding People’s Lives in Natural Air Threat Situation, they secured the top position & were awarded a prize money of INR 1,00,000/-. The Smart India Hackathon, held at Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh in December 2023, provided them with a platform to showcase their innovation & make a meaningful impact for a social cause, improving the quality of human lives. Niva Thakur participated in All India Inter-University Games held at Guru Nanak Dev University at Amritsar, Punjab from 18^th to 21^st March 2024 under Artistic Gymnastics where their team, the University of Mumbai from Mumbai, Maharashtra won the silver medal thereby securing the second rank or second position. (National Level)

Aadi Gavankar & Vineet Chaturvedi were a part of the college team that secured the third position (Bronze Medal) in Peep Sight Air Rifle Men’s Group Team (Team Event) at University of Mumbai Inter-Collegiate Tournament Zone – II held on Saturday, 5^th October 2024 at University of Mumbai Sports Grounds & Complex, Marine Lines, Mumbai. Kunal Wagh of Team Unbeatables participated in the international level hackathon Bit-N-Build’24 conducted by the Google Developers Students’ Club (GDSC) of Fr. Conceicao Rodrigues College of Engineering on 24^th & 25^th February 2024. (International Level)

Tanuj Kumbhar bagged the second position / second place in the inter-dance championship 2023 held by the Amitha Kala Mandira Dance Club. (State Level)

Sahil Bane, Aayush Juhukar, Yukta Wagh & Kaushik Nakashe were awarded a certificate of publication in recognition of a paper published titled ‘Classifico: Music Genre Prediction System using CNN’ in the International Journal for Multidisciplinary Research (IJFMR), Volume 5, Issue 3, June 2023 with Paper ID 4124 (E-ISSN No. 2582-2160). (Electronics & Computer Science) received a consolation prize on the occasion of ‘National Science day’ at Giant Meterwave Radio Telescope (GMRT) near Pune on 28^th February & 1^st March 2023 for their final year (B.E.) project ‘Docikraft’ under the supervision of Prof. Vaibhav Godbole. Darshal Parmar & Sachin Parmar from the Department of Electronics & Computer Science (ECS) secured the 1^st position (winners) at the Hackanova 2.0 Grand Finale 24 hours Hackathon on 20^th & 21^st January 2023 organized by the Thakur College of Engineering & Technology (TCET), Mumbai. The first patent published from the Department of Electronics & Computer Science (ECS) courtesy Rohit Nair, Rendell Padu, Gautam Manuel & M. Jyothis Shajan for their final year (B.E.) project titled ‘Metastore – An Image Based 3D Garment Making System for Virtual Try-ons’ under the supervision of Prof. Archana Lopes & guidance of Prof. Sangeeta Parshionikar. Final year (B.E.) project ‘Automatic Electric Vehicle (EV) Charging Station’ from the Department of Electronics & Computer Science (ECS); won 2 prestigious awards at different events whose group members comprised of Shalom Pakhare, Siddharth Mhade, Rizwan Baig & Abhishek Athani who were winners at the Prakalp Project Competition hosted by IEEE-WIE during Crescendo at Fr. Conceicao Rodrigues College of Engineering & winner of the Innovation Cup 2023 across all of Maharashtra at Sardar Patel Institute of Technology. (State Level & National Level)

Aayush Juhukar was among Top 10 Winning Teams of TIAA Hackathon held on 4^th May 2023 held online by Teachers’ Insurance & Annuity Association of America (TIAA) along with several other students from across the departments. (National Level)
